Where are all the jobs? I know this is the question on all of our minds.
Everyday when your out looking and still no work it gets frustrating.
Most of us are thinking this economy is so bad why even look,  no
one's hiring.

Though there is a solution.
Don't think of job hunting today like it was eight years ago, it's not the
same.
Most companies today are asking their Managers to cut back on staff
and utilize the employees they have. This is why we are seeing the
rise in layoffs and unemployment. These companies aren't shutting
down their just cutting back.

So what does this mean to you.
You are going to have to be smarter with your job hunting skills.
Look I'm not going to tell you things you don't know, but what I'm
going to teach you is things you should know.

What you need to do first is build up a network of friends and
acquaintances to help you find a job.
The more people you use, the better your odds are of finding one.
Call all your friends and family, leave emails, hang out at social events
and talk about jobs, jobs and more jobs this is your goal.

Go to all your local job search agencies, Work Force, ManPower and
make sure you
talk to someone.
Alot of people will go to these agencies,  fill out a form and then leave.
Heck you can do that on the internet. Talk to someone, get their name
and use them, thats what their paid for.

Using  Monster.com, Yahoo Hot Jobs.com. and Job.com. are great job
search engines.
They have important information like Resume builders, whats hot in
the market and career planning.
Job site locators help don't get me wrong, but don't use them as your
only source of locating a job.
I personally like using             when I'm searching for a job, it's just my
personal preference. Go check them out and see why.

Now what do you do next?
It takes work to get a job
